Toilet Paper Roll Snowman Craft
- Toilet paper roll
- Hot glue gun or craft glue
- Yellow pipe cleaner
- Black, white, red, and orange felt
Start by marking the height of your toilet paper roll on your felt with a pencil or pen. Cut the felt to fit the height of the roll, and make sure it’s long enough to wrap all the way around. Place a line of glue down the length of your roll, and place the short edge of your felt on the glue like shown.
Start wrapping the felt all the way around the roll, gluing along the top and bottom edges as you go. When you get to the end, trim the felt to match up, and glue the end down. Now cut two 6 inch long strips of red felt. Glue them together on the back of your snowman, about 2/3rds of the way up. Flip your snowman so the seam is in the back, and wrap one of the red strips across the front and glue in the center.
Wrap the other red strip across the center of the first strip, and glue that in place as well. Trim the ends to your preferred length. Next you’re going to cut out 5 black circles for eyes and buttons, a bumpy black mouth, and an orange carrot nose. Go ahead and glue your face pieces into place.
And glue on your buttons below your scarf. How cute! Now let’s make some arms for our snowman. Cut a pipe cleaner in half, and cut off a 1 1/2 inch long piece from each half.
Take each short piece and wrap it around the end of each long piece, creating a three fingered stick hand for your snowman. Now bend the end of each arm, and glue them into place.
Now your snowman has some fun poseable arms. You can bend them at different angles like I did, or have him hold different things or be waving at you.
You’re all done! I hope you have fun making this cute little Toilet Paper Roll Snowman Craft!
