Are you ready for Spring? I am. I just love baby animals, fresh spring flowers, and the cooler morning weather. When I was a teacher my little ones always looked forward to Spring too. We would hatch eggs, look for ducklings on walks, and smell the fresh flowers. We also loved making spring crafts. And, we made so many! But this fun little DIY Spring Flower Craft was always one of my favorites!
DIY Spring Flower Craft
Since spring weather can be pretty erratic, you might also need our cupcake liner snowflake craft, too – HA!
Spring Paper Craft Project Supplies:
- Blue or white construction paper.
- Scissors.
- School glue.
- Colorful cupcake liners.
- Green marker.
This was always a great project for the kids to work on when they needed to improve their fine motor skills. I would hand them a small stack of cupcake liners and safety scissor and let them work at their own pace.
Let’s get started making this pretty little DIY Spring Flower Craft!
First, you will need a few cupcake liners. I used the mini ones for this project, but any size will do. Then, cut the cupcake liners to the edge of the circle. Cut several the liner several times like this to create petals for the flowers.

Once your cupcake liners are cut, separate the liners.
Next, glue the cupcake liners onto the sheet of construction paper. I glued at least two on top of each other and fanned the petals out to make a more full flower.
Finally, I used a marker to draw the flower stem and leaves.
That’s it! I hope this quick and easy project inspires you to create some beautiful Spring Flowers!
