Picross (also referred to as nonogram or hanjie puzzles) are picture logic puzzles in which cells in a grid must be colored or left blank according to the numbers at the side of the grid. Each number means an unbroken line of black squares, and they appear in the same order as the numbers. Each row goes from left to right, and each column goes from top to bottom. At LEAST one empty box separates every unbroken line of black squares. Use this to your advantage!
Here are some helpful hints…
A row of “0” has no colored / filled in squares.
See if you can do the biggest numbers first. That will make the rest of the puzzle easier. 😉
And watch out! Picross grid puzzles are pretty addictive. You may want to set a timer for yourself before diving into one of these.
