Mandalas have always been one of our favorites to create here, so it was natural that we turn them into another more challenging puzzle activity for your kids.
Solving mazes sharpens hand-eye coordination, concentration and memory. It also hones cognitive thought processes, patience and persistence. And it teaches them the rewards of starting and finishing something. It is quite an accomplishment to get through a maze! And anytime we can help create wins for our children, we’ll do it, right?
Teachers, for your classroom consider printing these and adding them to a station. Have a race to see who can get through the maze first. You can also encourage your students to color the mandala. (Just in case you need just a little more time to finish that project you’re working on without interruption. 😉 )
