Use any kind of popcorn you have; pop it in the microwave. Nowadays, most microwaves have a “popcorn” setting, which is somewhere between two and three minutes. A good rule of thumb, though, is to listen to the kernels popping. When more than three seconds pass between pops, then the popcorn is done.

While your popcorn is cooling, melt the chocolate. I microwaved mine for 60 seconds and it came out perfect. Pour the white chocolate over the cooled popcorn.

Pour the mixture onto a foil-lined baking sheet (mine is 9x13). Refrigerate for about an hour.

When you take it out of the refrigerator, the popcorn should be hard; you should be able to break it into chunks.

The hard part is to not eat it all right now. If you and the kids can manage, put it in a nice container and present it to Dad. Pop(corn) for Pops! Happy Father’s Day!
