Paper Plate Monster Mask Craft

Halloween is just around the corner! When my boys were younger, I called them my little monsters. They had matching monster pajamas, monster t-shirts, monster backpacks, and anything else monster that we could find. They loved being my little monsters. And, we would make paper plate monster masks for them to play with all the time!

Let’s get started on these cute little paper plate monster masks! First, gather all of your supplies. This will make crafting a lot easier.

This is a good project for small group crafting or even one on one crafting with younger kids. It would also be a fun craft for a Halloween class party.

First, cut out the center of a paper plate. You will need one paper plate for each mask.

Then, paint or color the rim of the paper plate. Once the paint has dried, use school glue to secure the embellishments to the paper plate. We even used the center of the plate to cut out monster teeth for our masks! Let your little ones be as creative as they want with this step. My kids would spend a few minutes on some, and nearly thirty minutes on others. But, they always had so much fun creating their own monster masks.

That’s it! This is such a fun project to make with your little monsters. And, I hope it has inspired you to spend some quality time crafting with your little ones!
