This craft was originally supposed to be a flower garland. However, once we got started we realized it would be even cooler as a fairy crown. One of the best things about this paper flower fairy crown is that it is so simple. (And an even greater bonus: it only takes stuff you probably already have around the house.) It’s great for when you need something for the kids to do, but you don’t have the time or energy to do something really involved.

Next, draw some simple flower shapes, adding “stems” on either side that extend all the way to the edges of your paper.
Now color in the centers of your flowers, the stems, and even the petals, if you want to have a super-colorful flower fairy crown.
Cut them out.
Tape the ends together to create a long paper flower garland, or tape them into a circle to make a crown.
Voila! You have created a lovely floral crown perfect for make believe play, parties or simply to celebrate the whimsy of your day!
By the way…doesn’t she make a darling fairy? 😉
