It’s nearly Easter, so it’s time to start thinking about fun and easy Easter crafts and art projects to create with your little ones. When I was growing up, my grandfather had the most amazing marble mosaic wall. His whole wall was full of beautiful marbles. I was enamored with that wall. And, I think that y love for mosaic art comes from him. So, this mosaic egg art project is a nod to him.

Let’s get started on this cute little Spring project! First, gather all of your supplies. This will make crafting a lot easier.
Begin by cutting one piece of construction paper into an egg shape.
Next, cut or tear a bunch of small squares or circles from various colors of construction paper. If you choose to use circles, you could use a small paper punch to make them. My kids loved using my paper punches.
Then, begin gluing the the small squares or circles onto the egg. Be sure to leave small spaces between the squares (or circles) and try not to overlap them. Once the egg is full of your paper mosaic “tiles” your project is done! Once all of the paper tiles are dry, I trimmed the excess around the edges.
