Mardi Gras will soon be here, and in honor of this super fun holiday I’m sharing these Mardi Gras Printable Coloring Pages! They feature masks, beads, the famous King Cake, and characters from some of the parade floats! Mardi Gras, which is French for Fat Tuesday, is a traditional day of feasting and parties before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. During the six weeks of Lent, people traditionally give up something important to them, so Fat Tuesday is a way to indulge in those things before going without. People celebrate with parties, parades, lots of desserts, and dressing up in amazing costumes! The most well known Mardi Gras celebration is in New Orleans, but it’s celebrated all over the world.
