  • Snow Paint and Paint Brush.
  • Construction Paper.
  • Hot Glue Gun and glue.
  • Twigs.

Begin by making the snow paint. There isn’t an exact science to this because each type of shaving cream is a little different, and the store brand school glue is a little thinner than the brand name. But, start with 1/4 C of Shaving Cream and mix it with 2 TBS of liquid school glue. Add glitter for a little shimmer. Add more glue or shaving cream until you are happy with the texture. Mix the snow paint with your hands or a paint brush until it is all well combined. You can play with it as it is, or use it as a paint to finger paint or brush paint, depending on the child’s age.

Now, you can use the snow paint to make a beautiful winter scene or snow man art project.

Use a paint brush to paint a snowman silhouette. Then, paint snow paint on to the bottom of the construction paper to add snow drifts.

Use the edge of the paint brush and dip it into the snow paint and add snow flakes to the paper.

Now, break or cut the twigs to use as the snow man’s arms. Finally, carefully add hot glue to the construction paper where the snow man’s arms should be and stick the twigs in place.
