Easy 2 Ingredient Edible Playdough Recipe

When my boys were younger they loved to help me cook in the kitchen. It was truly a blessing and a curse sometimes. I always wanted to encourage them to cook and learn with me, but there were times we needed to make food quickly. So, I bought a small toy kitchen for them and set it up in our kitchen and added ingredients for them to make simple recipes. Their favorite was always this DIY Edible Playdough Recipe.

I am all about making my life easier. So, I would pre-measure each ingredient and put them in easy to open containers. Then, I would stack the containers in their play kitchen along with some fun sprinkles. Then, the boys would come and get larger mixing bowls, spoons, and the ice cream scoops from the kitchen and start working on their ice cream.

Sometimes we would buy special ice cream bowls, cups, or cones for the boys to serve their ice cream in.

Begin by scooping the cake frosting in to a large bowl. Then, slowly mix the powdered sugar into the frosting. If it is too sticky, add a little more sugar. If it is too stiff, add a little more frosting.
