Supplies:
- Thin headband
- Orange Felt
- White Felt
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Hot glue gun or craft glue

Start by taking your piece of orange felt and folding it in half. With the bottom of the ear on the fold, go ahead and draw two fox ear shapes. They should be like slightly rounded triangles. With the felt still folded, do ahead and cut them out. You’ll have two long shapes that kind of look like sweet potatoes. Fold each one in half again, and set your white felt on top.
On the white felt you’re going to draw the smaller inside of the ear. You can see and feel through the felt to see where the bigger orange ear is, and make the white ear about 1/4 inch smaller on the sides. Do this for both ears, and then cut out the white inner ears. Make sure they fit like shown, and then put some how glue on the back of the white ear. Glue it onto the orange ear, with the bottom of the white ear touching the fold of the orange ear.
Now grab your headband. Slip one of the ears under the headband, wrong side up. Place a triangle of hot glue on the ear, well above where the headband is. Then fold the front of the ear up onto the back, pressing gently to secure the glue. Do this with both ears.
And you have a fox ears headband! The great thing about this style of headband is that you can adjust the position of the ears to reflect the fox’s mood, or remove them completely to store them!
