Hi everyone! Let’s learn how to make this Cupcake Liner Jellyfish Craft! It’s an easy project for any under the sea or ocean learning theme, and only needs a few easy to find supplies. Let’s get started!
Cupcake Liner Jellyfish Craft
- Cupcake liners.
- Googly eyes.
- Crepe paper streamers.
- Curling ribbon.
Start by setting out your cupcake liner and cutting a couple strips off of the streamer rolls that are about twice the length as the cupcake liner is wide. Then cut a few pieces of curling ribbon at different lengths. Use your scissors to curl the curling ribbon lightly.
Cut each piece of streamer lengthwise into three strips. Flip your cupcake liner upright and spread some glue in the bottom. If you’re using school glue, let it sit for a minute to get tacky before the next step. Then place your streamer and curling ribbons ends into the glue, letting the other ends drape out over the edge of the cupcake liner. Let the glue dry completely.
Now flip your jellyfish right side up and place two dots of glue where you want the eyes to go, and attach the googly eyes. Cut a length of curling ribbon that is long enough to hang from wherever you want your jellyfish, and glue one end to the top center of the cupcake liner. Let it dry completely, and you’re all done!
Now just hang up your cute little jellyfish! How fun would it be to make a bunch of these in a variety of colors to decorate a ceiling?
