Baseball Season is just around the corner. Our family enjoys nothing more than enjoying the local team in the grass seating on a warm spring night. Our local minor league team has inexpensive tickets each week, and kids are encouraged to bring in pennant flags and signs to support the players. So, my niece, nephew, boys, and I made fun DIY Baseball Pennant Flags for our next game. This Baseball Pennant Flag Craft would be a fun classroom activity too! Let’s learn how to make these fun Baseball Flags.
Check out our printable baseball alphabet letters, too!
Baseball Pennant Flag Craft
Supplies:
- Construction Paper to match your team colors.
- Glue.
- Popsicle sticks.
- Crayons.
- Pencil.
- Ruler.
This project is so easy to make! First, use your ruler to draw isosceles triangles on the colored sheets of construction paper. Draw as many triangles as you will need to make your baseball pennant flags. We put two flags on each sheet of white construction paper. This is a great opportunity to teach the little ones about the different types of triangles.

Next, cut out each triangle flag.
Now, use your crayons to decorate the pennants. You could also use stickers to decorate the flags.
Then, add a thin bead of glue to a popsicle stick and glue it onto the front of the pennant flags. You can leave them like this, or you can glue the pennants to a sheet of white construction paper. We glued them to a piece of white paper and took them to the game for the players to autograph.
This would be a great project for little league siblings to make, or even at a baseball themed birthday party!

That’s it! I hope you enjoyed making these fun baseball pennant flags in time for Spring Baseball!
