How to Make a Kid’s Christmas Wreath with a Paper Plate
I’ve been having a lot of fun discovering all of the amazing paper plate crafts there are to do with kids. I was looking for a really easy craft because I’ve got a newborn and wanted to keep my older kids occupied. This Christmas wreath fit the bill!
What You Need to Make a Paper Plate Wreath Craft
- Green construction paper and/or tissue paper (we used three colors)
- Paper plate
- Red construction paper
Cut the center out of your paper plate to make your wreath form.
Rip your green paper into small pieces and make a pile. This will make the “pine boughs” for your Christmas wreath. Glue the pieces to the paper plate in any arrangement you want. Just try to cover as much of the white paper plate as possible.
Freehand or find a template to make some embellishments for your Christmas wreath craft. We did holly leaves and a bow for ours.
Glue on your embellishments and hang up your paper plate wreath.
